Admission Advice
1. You are strongly recommended to attend an information session.
2. Upon receiving an offer into the program, the following will be required:
Note: Updated immunizations for measles, mumps, polio, tetanus, diphtheria, varicella and rubella are strongly recommended. Recommendations will change based on Health Region requirements.
3. Standard First Aid and CPR Level C are required before the first clinical placement
4. Non-Violence Crisis Intervention (NVCI) is required before the first clinical placement. NVCI course may be arranged through the HCSW program during program orientation.

If you have BC secondary school graduation or lack one course for BC secondary school graduation, you would qualify for general admission to Douglas College.
