Part-time: Applications are accepted throughout the year
Application Fee: $90 (domestic); $154 (international)
Note: the full-time September 2022 intake is now closed for new applications. The September 2023 intake will open for applications on January 4, 2023. Applications for the part-time option may be submitted at any time.
The BBA is a degree program for students who are planning to complete, or have completed, specific BCIT diplomas, and who wish to further their education.
Successful candidates must meet the program’s minimum entrance requirements, and should apply to the BCIT BBA program after completing or when nearing completion of one of the BCIT School of Business diploma programs below.
Entrance requirements
If you meet the minimum entrance requirements listed below, please apply to the program for either full-time or part-time.
Full-time: Admission is ranked based on a student's overall and core course grades.
Applicants who are currently enrolled in the final term of their BCIT diploma must be on track to complete their diploma by May. Applicants who are currently enrolled in a full-time BCIT diploma and are applying for the full-time degree may be conditionally accepted pending successful completion of their diploma and any applicable bridging courses.
Part-time: Conditional acceptance into part-time is not granted; applicants must have completed an eligible diploma and met all entrance requirements.
This program has a two-step admission process:

If you submit your application for admission to a September 2023 or later intake, the following changes will apply:
Complete applications will be reviewed and assessed by the program area. Applications will not be considered complete until the Online Assessment Form has been submitted.
If you do not meet the entrance requirements
If you have completed an eligible diploma but do not otherwise meet the entrance requirements, submit the Online Assessment Form before applying to the BBA program.
If you do not have an eligible diploma please email bba@bcit.ca directly to determine if you may qualify for admission based on non-BCIT credentials and work experience.
Applicants also have to satisfy BCIT's institution admission requirements as listed below.

English 12 and equivalencies
At BCIT, entrance requirements are program-specific. All programs require English 12, but the percentage required varies by program. Be sure to confirm your program’s specific English requirement before applying.

If you have not graduated from secondary school you may still be admitted to BCIT based on your relevant experience. To gain Mature student status, you must also meet BCIT's English-language requirements as well as any prerequisites for your desired program. Please contact BCIT Admissions to discuss your situation further.
