BCIT offers a wide range of business, computing, sciences, trades, health, engineering and technology programs in full-time, part-time, and distance education formats. Earning a BCIT credential, such as a certificate, diploma or degree, can fast fast track graduates into successful careers. Degree programs are available in the schools of Business, Health Sciences, Computing, Construction and the Environment, and Energy. Many of these programs are available through part-time studies.
BCIT has four campuses: the main campus in Burnaby; the Downtown Vancouver Campus (DTC); the Aerospace Technology Campus (ATC) at the Vancouver International Airport; and the BCIT Marine Training Campus (BMC) near Londsdale Quay in North Vancouver. A wide range of full- and part-time programs are offered at the Burnaby and Downtown campuses, while a small number of specialized programs are offered at ATC and BMC. BCIT also has 15 satellite campuses, most of which are located in the Lower Mainland.
FACILITY/SERVICE HIGHLIGHTS: The Burnaby Campus offers students the following: a 336-space student residence; a drop-in medical office, numerous sports courts, a weight room, aerobics classes, sports fields and a running track; extensive educational and personal counselling services; and a child care centre.
